Critic Shimonoseki Tuna unearthed Satomi Ishihara’s “Takeyabu Amorous Affair.
It was “Moonlight Mask,” directed by and starring comedian Itao Itsuji. Ishihara is taken to a bamboo grove by a returning soldier, played by Itao, and forced down by him, despite the fact that Ishihara has a daughter-in-law. She faints in agony as her body is manipulated all over, exposing her white collarbone and thighs. Ishihara later recalled in an interview that she was ‘very cold,’ but she was so passionate in her glamorous technique that she did not feel the cold.
