Team Composition
• You will want bounce slings with Anti Gravity Barrier and Anti Magic Circle. Magic Circle Boost and Slayer abilities are also helpful to boost your damage output.
– Yamato is one of the best units for this quest, thanks to having Demonsbane M to deal damage while still having both anti abilities. Laplace’s ascension, while lacking Anti Magic Circle, has an 8-turn Strike Shot that ignores counterattacks, as well as Gravity Barrier Slayer L.
– Bakugo is noteworthy due to having Anti Block, which makes defeating Angel mobs much easier than it normally is.
Procedure / Tips
• This quest is about stacking as many Attack buffs as you can before attacking certain enemies; said enemies turn transparent upon being hit, so you’ll have to wait until the next turn to damage them again.
• The Confusion ailment periodically inflicted upon your team, as well as the barrier the area boss puts up around itself every turn, are both meant to keep you from triggering the boss’ counterattack early; this gives you a chance to build up Attack buffs before landing the big blow.
• Prioritize defeating an Angel mob before attacking other enemies; defeating it will not only debuff enemy defenses, but help you survive Confusion damage by providing a healing source. Both of these provisions last for up to three turns before wearing off.
– Note that these Angels are usually positioned next to blocks, usually making them hard to reach. You also need at least one Attack buff to reliably defeat one.
