作品について / Program notes
ロベルト・シューマンが1840年に作曲した、全１６曲の連作歌曲集「詩人の恋」から６曲を抜粋し吹奏楽のために編曲しました。
１６曲中第１曲から第６曲までが愛の喜びを、第７曲から第１４曲までは失恋の悲しみを、最後の２曲はその苦しみを振り返っていると考えられていますので、この抜粋版では前半３つが喜びを、４つ目が悲しみを、最後の２つはシューマンのオリジナルと同じく回顧の音楽となります。
抜粋した曲は以下の通りです。

編曲にあたってはオリジナルを尊重しつつも吹奏楽に合うように音の追加、テンポの変更、小節の省略または拡大などを施しています。ドイツ歌曲の音世界はもちろん大切にして欲しく思いますが、それとはまた違った吹奏楽ならではの表現を楽しんで頂けたら幸いです。
