タレントの木下優樹菜さんが2月19日、東京都内で行われた映画「さいはてにて やさしい香りと待ちながら」（チアン・ショウチョン監督）のイベントにモデルで女優の佐々木希さんとともに登場。同作でシングルマザー役に初挑戦した“親友”の佐々木さんの演技について「希、頑張ったなあと思い、感極まりました」と語り、「母親役って難しいと思う。女優ではないので分からないんですが、母親にしか分からない部分があると思う。共感できた。ちゃんとやったじゃん。すごいなと思いました」と絶賛した。
また、1児の母でもある木下さんは「子供がどんなに憎たらしいこと言ってきたり、何かをこぼして仕事を増やしたりして怒った日でも、（娘の）寝顔を見ているといろいろな気持ちが湧き出て涙が止まらなくなる」と私生活を告白。佐々木さんは「私はまだ分からないな。犬しか分からない」と話して笑いを誘っていた。
映画は、幼い頃に別れた父との思い出の場所である故郷の奥能登に帰り、コーヒー店を開いた岬（永作博美さん）と、2人の子供を育てるシングルマザーの絵里子（佐々木さん）が寄り添いながら生きていく姿を描いたヒューマンドラマ。映画は28日から公開予定。

Media personality Yukina Kinoshita appeared alongside model and actress Nozomi Sasaki at an event of the movie “The Furthest End Awaits” (directed by Chiang Hsiu-Chiung), held in Tokyo on February 19th. She shared about the performance of her “close friend” Sasaki, who first tried a single mother role in this movie: “I think that Nozomi has tried a lot and her performance is full of emotion. In my opinion, the mother role is very difficult. I am not an actress, so I cannot understand it, but I think that there are things that only mothers can understand.”
