英女優のリリー・ジェームズさんが4月8日、東京・六本木ヒルズアリーナで行われた実写映画「シンデレラ」（ケネス・ブラナー監督）のレッドカーペットイベントにロングドレス姿で登場。この日の東京は昼でも気温4度を下回る真冬並みの寒さで、冷たい雨の降る中、コートを羽織ってカーペットを歩いたジェームズさんは「日本に来られてとっても興奮しています。ちょっと寒いですけど」とにっこり。時折震える姿も見せていたが、集まったファンに向かって日本語で「見てね！」と笑顔で呼びかけた。
レッドカーペットイベントには、日本語吹き替え版でシンデレラ役を務めた女優の高畑充希さん、王子役を務めた俳優の城田優さん、ブラナー監督も登場した。映画は4月25日公開。
