半年のリハーサル期間があったものの、映画の撮影現場は初体験だった高校生の野村萬斎さん。特に緊張した様子もなく、黒澤監督の丁寧な演技指導を淡々と受けて堂々としたものだった。板付きで台詞を交わしてしまう三人に、どんどん動きが加わっていく。この日はあいにくの曇天と霧でカメラは回らなかった。

Although there was a rehearsal period of half a year, Mansai Nomura, a high school student who had never experienced a movie shooting site.
