UA STUDENTS vs GIGANTOMACHIA *僕のヒーローアカデミア*(WAR ARC MEDLEY 5)ファンが作ったサウンドトラック-BY AIGE-

BEWARE OF MANGA SPOILERS!!!
Hi guys!
I finally made it! A new War Arc Medley!!!
This one might be the most “Medley” MHA medley out of all the ones that I’ve done since the first one. It has fewer original pieces while everything else is a re-orchestration using known MHA themes and it is the longest one yet. So, in case anyone actually reads these video descriptions, I’ll once again break the song down for you:

– The intro is an original melody, heavily inspired by both the “Gigantomachia” theme and the “Paranormal Liberation Front” theme.
– Then we move to some improv for the segment dedicated to Midnight’s death. I tried to make something somber and tragic, but that at the same time had a bit of urgency. There are some tiny hints of the “My Hero Academia” theme too.
– After that, there is a small transition segment. This one is a small bit that originally appears in “Hero A”, but orchestrated differently of course.
– Then I used the “Hero A” main melody (or at least I think it is) when the kids are getting ready to fight.
– We move to a small original segment, this one plays twice and on the second one it is accompanied by a melody that appeared in the “Gigantomachia” theme. Then his main theme is heard.
– We have a small pause and then the melody that appears when the kids manage to trap Machia is from movie 3. It’s a small segment that appeared in “Flect’s Trap ”. I liked it so much when I initially heard it that even though I think it was meant to represent Deku, Bakugou and Todoroki (since I suspect it is like a slowed or extended version of the beginning “Trinity” melody), I JUST HAD TO USE IT! It was so cool!
– Then I used a segment of “Symbol of Fear”, followed by “Hero A” once more.
– After that we have a bit of improv again when Ashido goes to give the sedative to Machia and remembers his voice.
– Then, I used the final melody that appears in “Paranormal Liberation Front” and right after, I used the melody from “I’ll be your Hero” when Kirishima appeared. I asked not long ago if people related this song to him more than the one called “Red Riot” and most answered that yes (including me), so I decided to use that one instead.
I did a small original melody for when the pros are coming to help and then another original melody for the final segment of Machia’s rampage.
– And… that’s it!

While in terms of orchestration it didn’t give me too many issues, I was having problems with sound quality. I’m thinking of learning more about how to mix things correctly.
Also, luckily, this time I only had to color the last two screens, THANK GOD! Last time with the Nagant video I colored like 17 myself. However, it still takes a lot of time to redraw them and take out speech bubbles. I might reduce the number of screens for the videos in the future, I’m still not sure.

Anyway, I really love this part of the war, seeing the kids putting up a fight and working together was so nice. Huge respects towards Mt Lady, she really put in the effort, and RIP Midnight, you’ll be missed.

This one has probably been my favorite medley so far, but let me know what you think, which one has been your favorite?
Thank you for all the support, it really means a lot! I really hope you enjoy this one!!

Let me know if you’d like me to do more songs like this, covering things from the manga that still haven’t happened in the anime yet, from this one or other series, in the comments down below, or if there’s a specific song or unreleased track I could do a cover of.
If you enjoy my content, please subscribe. I hope you liked the song. Until next time!
