お笑いコンビ「バナナマン」の日村勇紀さんが4月11日、東京都内で行われた主演映画「新選組オブ・ザ・デッド」（渡辺一志監督）の初日舞台あいさつに登場。日村さんは、ゾンビになってしまう新選組の“お荷物”隊士、屑山下衆太郎（くずやま・げすたろう）という役を演じている。
舞台あいさつには、女優の山本千尋さん、グラビアアイドルの水樹たまさん、俳優の古旗宏治さん、川岡大次郎さん、お笑い芸人のチャド・マレーンさん、渡辺監督も出席した。
映画は、突然ゾンビが出現した幕末の京都を舞台に、新選組隊士という身分をいいことに好き勝手に振る舞ってきた男が、ゾンビに出くわしてかまれ、命を取り留めたものの肉体が次第にゾンビ化し、ゾンビ対新選組の戦いに巻き込まれていく……というストーリー。

Himura of “Bananaman” shows off action as zombie! Stage greetings for premiere of “Samurai of the Dead” 1
Yuki Himura of the comedy duo “Bananaman” attended the stage greetings event for the premiere of the movie “Samurai of the Dead” (directed by Kazushi Watanabe) in which he plays the main character, held in Tokyo on April 11th. Himura stars Kuzuyama Gesutaro – a “Onimotsu” pugilist belonging to Shinsengumi, who will become a zombie.
